UPDATE MAY 2011

European 5th call of the 7th Framework Programme (FP7) for Rail Research

The European Commission funding for rail research is approximately 23 to 26M€ per year. 40% of railway project proposals submitted under the Transport call are successful in receiving funding, and last year the UK was the largest beneficiary. The 7 th Framework Programme is therefore one of the most cost efficient ways to fund rail research projects that are of interest to other European countries. Participation in these projects is open to private companies, public organisations and individual researchers.

This is the third year that an FP7 dissemination event has been held in London. Last year, people attending the event made contacts that resulted in them being partners in successful project bids just eight months later.

Whether you are an experienced partner in Framework Programme projects, or are interested in learning more about funding for projects, you will find this workshop useful.

Participation is free, but places are limited. Please register by sending your details to emma.isteed@networkrail.co.uk
